Framed Original - Aspen Geese

CA$140.00

Frame Dimensions: 9” x 11” x 0.5”

Original Artwork by: Alexandra Lalande

The iconic Canadian Goose commonly travels in migrating groups of 30 to 100 geese and are capable of flying 2,400 km in just 24 hours. This is possible with tail winds and their familiar ‘V’ formation which allows the leading goose to take on the majority of the headwind and the following geese fly in the draft. The geese honk to communicate in flight and alternate leading as fatigue sets in. It is inspiring to see how these birds communicate efficiently, aid each other and travel so far as the seasons change.

The date this leaf was painted is indicated on the back of the leaf. It is strongly recommended that this piece is not hung in or placed in direct sunlight in order to avoid leaf fading.

This frame is vintage which helps to limit new production and transportation emissions.

Please note that brightness and colouring do vary from monitor to monitor.

All pieces have been made with care and quality.
