Frame Dimensions: 16.625” x 18.75” x 0.75”
Full Moon Forest
A young buck looks up towards a full moon. I wonder what wildlife thinks of the changes that are happening to the weather and their habitat. Wildlife has no control when it comes to climate change, and one of the most direct effects aside from waste pollution, is urban sprawl. New highways, subdivisions and shopping malls are constantly popping up and pushing them to different forests and new areas. I can only imagine the new difficulties they face when trying to survive the already harsh wild with these new hurdles which go against their long learned instincts.
This frame has been made from local recycled wood products which allows the carbon dioxide the tree had collected throughout its lifetime to continue to be stored instead of being released into the atmosphere from burning or decomposition.
Frame and Original Artwork by: Alexandra Lalande
Glass: UV resistant and anti-glare Art Glass
The date this leaf was painted is indicated on the back of the leaf. This leaf has been sealed with a protective UV coating but it is still recommended that it is hung out of direct sunlight to avoid any fading.
