Framed Original Polar Fever

CA$120.00

Frame Dimensions: 9.125” x 9.125” x 1”

Polar Fever

It can be hard to remember that our actions have an effect on the planet and all those we share it with. Even the little things we do in our everyday lives add up and affect wildlife like this polar bear. The climate has changed drastically and one thing we can all do each day is to reduce the amount of waste we put out into the world. This has many benefits including a smaller carbon footprint, healthier food options and cost savings.

Great Spangled Fritillary
What a name right? I saw one of these last summer and couldn’t believe the name when I looked it up to paint it! Definite fairy vibes in comparison to ‘monarch’ or ‘swallowtail’ 🦋

I started this Lilac Mourning Cloak in May and began to avoid painting all together since I was so frustrated with it. It’s safe to say Lilacs are the most difficult flower to paint, for me at least 😅
